“Half of seeming clever is keeping your mouth
shut at the right times”

-- Patrick Rothfuss --

Poster Design by Mulluane~ Book Quote by Patrick Rothfuss, Wise Man's Fear

About: This is going to be a weekly feature here in the old belfry. Until I run out of inspiration anyway. The quote of course is Patrick Rothfuss' but the design is all mine. Sorry about the slow load but it is an high resolution image

I like this spin on an old saying -- this is much more "polite" than the one I grew up on. Who can guess what that old saying was?

  1. {chuckle} I won't guess the less polite version, but I do like this quote. {SMILE}

    1. lol, the saying I grew up with was "It is better to be quiet and let people think you are an idiot than to open your mouth and prove it."

      Like I pointed out, this is much more polite. {grins}

    2. {SMILE} I see what you mean; they are similar, but this one is kinder. {Chuckle, Smile}

  2. No guessing for me either but the quote made me laugh, because a know a few people who should keep it in front of them all day long... :-)

    I like the image very much, as well: the bottom part, with the naked branches and the butterfly is particularly evocative. **thumbs up**

    1. Practice will make, maybe not perfect but better. The next one is designed to be funny. The one after tickles me but the design is meh. Yours, now yours is flat out beautiful.

      IMO of course.

      The good news is that I'm getting the full paid version of the program for Mother's day. That will open up alot of options to play with. For a year anyway.

    2. If you like the full version well enough, you'll know what to ask/hint for Mother's day next year. {Smile, wink}
